Quick Start
Get started with BioQuery in under 5 minutes.
Step 1: Navigate to BioQuery
Go to bioquery.io/query in your browser.
Step 2: Sign In (Optional)
While you can view example queries without signing in, you’ll need an account to run new queries.
- Click Sign In or Get Started
- Sign in with Google or create an account with email
Step 3: Ask a Question
Type a natural language question about cancer genomics. For example:
Is DDR1 expression higher in papillary RCC compared to clear cell RCC?Or try clicking one of the example queries on the page.
Step 4: Review Your Results
After a few seconds, you’ll see a Query Card with:
- Natural Language Answer - A plain English summary of the findings
- Interactive Figure - Boxplot, Kaplan-Meier curve, or bar chart
- Statistical Results - P-value, effect size, sample sizes
- Methods - Grant-ready text you can copy
Step 5: Export Your Results
Click Export to download:
- PNG - High-resolution image for presentations
- SVG - Vector format for editing in Illustrator
- JSON - Full card data for programmatic use
Step 6: Share Your Results
Click Share to copy a permalink. Anyone with the link can view your Query Card.
Query Cards are permanent and shareable. Include them in grant applications, papers, or share with collaborators.
